For Kristine Alessio, public service has always started with serving her neighbors.
Long before running for County Supervisor, Kristine dedicated countless hours volunteering with organizations that make the County stronger, including the Boys & Girls Clubs of East County, the East County YMCA, the La Mesa History Center, and the La Mesa Adult Enrichment Center, where she has shared the joy of pet therapy with local seniors.
These experiences have given Kristine a firsthand understanding of the people, families, and organizations that make our communities special. She believes strong communities are built through compassion, service, and a commitment to giving back.
Whether supporting local youth, preserving La Mesa's rich history, promoting healthy families, or bringing comfort and companionship to seniors, Kristine has always believed that leadership means showing up and making a difference.
