My Priorities
Increasing our police force.
Provide firefighters what they need.
Cutting red tape at City Hall.
Repair streets.
Make certain community character is retained when new development projects come into our City.

Why I'm Running
We need leadership, I can provide that, I will work for you. La Mesa is changing from a sleepy little town to a more populated and popular city and with those changes come challenges that also face big cities. We need a dynamic Councilmember with the right skill set to face these challenges. My background in land use, law and business combined with a long record of community service makes me the right fit for the job.
La Mesa residents and businesses need a Councilmember that has their needs in mind and will work to make sure they have the opportunity to grow and thrive.
I have the experience needed to make La Mesa the best it can be. As a former City councilmember, I spearheaded several local initiatives, including Term Limits, the Climate Action Plan, the PARS pension liability paydown plan, the Smoke Free La Mesa ordinance and the Affordable Homes Bonus program.
